Driver eligibility
- Primary driver must be 25 or older with a valid driver's license issued for at least 3 years.
- International licenses accepted when paired with a valid passport.
- Clean driving record required. We run a standard motor-vehicle report before pickup.
- Additional drivers must be added to the agreement in advance and meet the same requirements.
Insurance
- Every rental includes comprehensive coverage with a standard deductible. Deductible varies by vehicle and is disclosed at booking.
- Premium insurance add-on reduces deductible to zero and covers wheels, tires, and windshield.
- Proof of full-coverage personal auto insurance is required at pickup. Rideshare-only policies do not qualify.
- Track use, commercial use, and off-road driving are never covered.
Mileage, fuel, and tolls
- Included mileage varies by vehicle (see each car's detail page). Extra miles are billed at the listed per-mile rate.
- Cars are delivered with a full tank of premium fuel (91 octane minimum) and must be returned the same way.
- Refueling service is available for a flat fee if you'd rather skip the gas station.
- Tolls and parking citations incurred during your rental are billed back at cost plus a small admin fee.
Pickup & delivery
- Complimentary concierge delivery within 25 miles of our San Jose HQ.
- Extended delivery available across the Bay Area at the posted flat rate. Same-day charter delivery on request.
- Standard pickup window is 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM PT. After-hours delivery available by arrangement.
- The vehicle is inspected with you at delivery. We document the condition with timestamped photos, shared to your email.
Cancellation & changes
- Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your pickup window.
- Within 48 hours of pickup, a 25% cancellation fee applies. Inside 24 hours, the first day's rate is non-refundable.
- Date changes are free if requested 48+ hours out, subject to availability.
- Weather or safety-driven cancellations on our end are always refunded in full.
Incidents & damage
- Call the 24/7 concierge line immediately in the event of any incident, no matter how minor.
- If the vehicle is not driveable, stay with the car and we'll dispatch recovery at no cost to you.
- Damage fees are assessed from documented pre- and post-rental photos and itemized in writing.
- Police reports are required for any collision, theft attempt, or third-party involvement.
Please do
- Treat the car like you'd want a guest to treat yours.
- Park in secure, well-lit areas and use included covers overnight.
- Call us any time. We're happy to explain unfamiliar controls or recommend routes.
Please don't
- No track days, autocross, drift events, or driver's education use.
- No commercial use (rideshare, delivery, filming without a production rider).
- No smoking, vaping, or transporting animals without prior approval.
- No off-road driving. Stick to paved surfaces.
